Intro
My name is Mani Albrecht. As your guide, I want you to have a safe, memorable and fun day on the water. I focus on reading the water, finding fish, then carefully setting up an indicator rig to fish chironomids below the surface. We’ll work both the open flats and the edges where trout feed, adjusting depth and presentation as the wind shifts or the fish move. When a trout takes your fly, there’s nothing quite like watching your indicator disappear under the surface, and then feeling the line strip off your reel, with the mountains reflected on the lake in front of you. Patience and precision make the day, but the scenery and the moments between strikes are just as unforgettable.
